What you’ll be doing
- Define and refine the user experience of the WeLend’s lending products
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product and Tech Team to create customer-centric solutions
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Rapidly ideate and validate designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate the products functions
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Optimize existing UI designs
Who we think you are
- Bachelor’s degree in design, industrial design or related field from a reputable institution
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in designing digital products, websites and mobile apps
- Successful track record of in UIUX or in a similar role
- Experience in turning complex problems and into simple and engaging customer experiences
- Understanding of user experience, information architecture, interaction design and visual design
- Experience in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Invision, Flinto, Sketch)
- Ability to interpret business needs and develop design concepts
- Ability to articulate design choices and build consensus within the team. Have contributed as a leader in design and a strong collaborator with product managers and engineers
- Experience working in an agile environment, using HTML & CSS frameworks, and user research is an advantage
- Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
